Epson to raise investment in Indonesia
Jakarta (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - PT Indonesia Epson Industry said it will increase its investment in the country by US$20 million next year to expand its printer production capacity by 10 per cent.
Company Vice President Eiichi Abe said Epson, which produces around 1 million units of printer with sales valued at US$1 billion every month, has so far invested US$200 million in the country.
Epson exports 90 per cent of its production, which consists of low to middle range printers. The company currently has two factories in Indonesia - one in the Cikarang Industrial Estates and another in Batam.
