Bush to visit Indonesia after attending APEC summit

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - U.S. President George W. Bush will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders` Meeting in Vietnam and travel to Singapore and Indonesia, according to a statement of the US Press Secretary.

President Bush will travel to Hanoi, Vietnam, to attend the 14th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Leaders` Meeting on November 18-19, said the statement distributed by the US Embassy`s Public Affairs Service here on Friday.

"At APEC, the President looks forward to continuing his robust dialogue with APEC Leaders on ways to ensure the continued prosperity of the Asia-Pacific region," the Press Secretary stated.

The President will have meetings with President Triet and Prime Minister Dung in Hanoi on November 17, and will hold bilateral meetings with other leaders while at APEC. While in Vietnam, President Bush will visit Ho Chi Minh City.

President Bush also will travel to Singapore and Indonesia during his trip. (*)
